Dental Assistants
Our assistants make the clinical doctor visit possible. Dr. Emmi, Dr. Graham or Dr. Tachanco says “without my chair-side assistants, my job would be near impossible to complete with precision and efficiency.” Our clinical assistant staff is trained well and is always looking for ways to better serve our patients.

“I first decided I wanted to explore the dental field during my high school rotation at Howard Vo-Tech. I really enjoyed the idea of working with patients daily and potentially changing the confidence people have in themselves by correcting their smile. This reason is why I chose to pursue dental assisting as my technical shop for the duration of high school. I started my first dental assisting job during my co-op senior year. After graduation I moved on to a pediatric office and it was at that point that I fell in love with dentistry. I decided to branch out and transition into adult dentistry and that is when I found Smile Solutions. I am so proud of the work Dr. Emmi and the associates at Smile Solutions do on a daily basis. They do exactly what I’ve always wanted to be a part of, changing lives one smile at a time! In my free time I enjoy spending time with my two sons going on boy mom adventures. I also like to travel and spend time with my family and friends!”

After graduating from a vocational high school in 2020, I began my career in the dental field working at a pediatric dental office. It was then that I discovered my passion for dentistry. Being able to help patients feel comfortable in the dental chair was incredibly rewarding and allowed my interest for the dental field to grow.
Transitioning to Smile Solutions was a shift in my career, from working with pediatric patients to now working with adults. While the change came with challenges, it also brought new opportunities for growth. This experience has not only expanded my clinical knowledge, but has also allowed my passion for dental to grow. I’m grateful to work with such a supportive team and amazing patients.
Outside of the office, I enjoy staying active by going to the gym or for walks along the water, and spending time with friends and family.

“Growing up I always enjoyed taking the trip to the dentist office with my family for my routine 6-month checkup. I have always had pleasant experiences and felt comfortable at the dentist. These experiences helped me make the decision about going into the dental field. I attended Delcastle Technical High School where I chose Dental Assisting as my shop. From there I gained experience at my first dental job at an oral surgeon’s office. After high school I decided I wanted more of a variety with procedures I assisted and that a general dental office would be a better fit for me. That is when I found Smile Solutions by Emmi Dental Associates. Now, as Dr. Emmi’s assistant I am able to assist on many interesting and challenging cases like full mouth reconstruction, implants, and traditional “drill and fill” procedures. Watching people transform their smiles is extremely rewarding and I love seeing a patient’s reaction when they see their new smile for the first time.”

“A smile is the first thing I have always noticed on a person before anything else. I love seeing people happy and confident be able to laugh and smile effortlessly. This is the reason why I decided to become part of the team that helps keep people smiling confidently! In my free time I love playing with my puppy Mamas and hanging with my nephews.”

Since starting at Smile Solutions I feel like I found my dental home, I get to work with amazing doctors, coworkers and patients! I’ve been in the dental field since graduating Delcastle in 2016.
Being bilingual makes it easier to make more patients feel at ease. Being able to help patients feel confident about their smiles is the most rewarding feeling.
When not with patients, I enjoy spending time with family, exploring new spots with my fiancé and taking my fur baby on walks.
